As I'll soon venture into the world of blogging, I thought I'd start with a "What's coming" section. I'll try to do this periodically, so you'll know what I'll be writing about over the next few weeks.
- My review of Matt Stauffer's new book Laravel: Up and Running. I was delighted to receive an advance copy of Matt's new book and look forward to the opportunity to read and review the material. I'm a little over half-way now, and should be finished by this weekend. My first post will cover what I learned as well as my thoughts on the book.
- A detailed walkthrough of how I implemented Freek Van der Herten's Laravel/Vue dashboard. I'll cover everything from installation to how I personalized the content. This includes changing from the default implementation of using Google Calendar to using Outlook's Exchange calendar, as well as using Github gists for my task lists.
- I'll also be writing a step-by-step on how I installed this Grav website on Laravel Forge. With all of my other sites being hosted on Forge, I thought it couldn't be too difficult. Turns out it was quite simple. I'll show you how.
Although I guess this is actually my first post, I look forward to finishing Matt's book this weekend and starting this blog. This is something I've wanted for a long time now as I believe it will be an amazing tool for me as I learn and grow in web development.
